Fall at the Hall's

I know, I wear this hat way too much, but what can I say, then I don't have to do my hair... Since we didn't stay in Kanab I decided to take Talee on a date we went to the temple lighting ceremony and to Target to let her pick out Dayson's Christmas present. We had a lot of fun.
This was the only picture I have of Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving was kind of a bummer. We had planned on spending the whole weekend in Kanab, but Mike ended up getting the stomach flu and staying home, so the kids and I just went out for the day.
This year Mike and I have been married 12 years. We had planned on staying home and keeping it simple for our anniversary since we have a baby, but we got offered free BYU tickets. We decided to take them since the game was on the same weekend as our anniversary and Hurricane's state football game. Cooper rode up to state with Uncle Daryl and Grandpa Billy. Mike and I took Tucker to Aunt Diana's house where he was loved and taken great care of. The Hurricane game was amazing! They won and it was so much fun! The snow was awesome! The next night Mike and I again took Tucker to Diana's house to be loved by the Harmon family while we went to the BYU game. Our seats were amazing, but it was so so cold!!! We called Di at half time and Tucker was kind of fussy, so we decided to leave early. This started quite the adventure where we ended up walking a couple of miles before finding a taxi to take us to our van at the mall. I thought it was hilarious, Mike was less than thrilled. Tucker was kind of fussy the whole weekend so it kind of put a damper on things, but it was still a fun experience.
This was us on the bus on our way to the game.

His stance is awesome!

My kids have all been super busy this fall. Before Cooper's football was over all four of them had something every Wednesday. Now Dayson's wrestling has come to an end too, but I wanted to post a picture of him. Paul's son Karter and Dace were both in wrestling for the first time this year. Paul was awesome helping out these two wild boys. They loved to kick, hit, fight each other most of the time, but they had fun!

Halloween 2011

A few days before Halloween IHop was offering free scary pancakes for kids. I thought my whole family would have a blast doing this, but apparently Coop and Trey are getting old because they wanted to stay home and play with friends, so I took Talee and Dayson over and let them get their pancakes. They thought it was super fun.

Misty and I took our kids that aren't in school to the library for story time and a Halloween parade. They had a good time and got to make balloon spiders.
Dayson was so cute with Talee. After I got her dressed he told her she looked beautiful.
Me and Tucker were very quick getting ready. I had such a short time to get ready I even asked Dayson to try to put T's costume on him. Sad, I know, but you got to do what you got to do. I figured he was already crying what else could happen.
My kiddos Halloween night. T's whiskers didn't last very long. After nursing and sucking his fingers they were gone pretty quick.
The week before Halloween we went and got pumpkins for family night. I am kind of a lazy Halloween mom, it's not my favorite holiday. Instead of carving and gutting five kids pumpkins I chose to use these poke-in-faces. Cooper had to add some horns to his pumpkin, hmmm, I don't know why...
Treyden always chooses the biggest pumpkin he can. When we were at the store they had to bring out a bathroom scale to even weigh the thing because it was too big for their weight at the check stand. That is why his pumpkin's face has so many parts on it, oh yeah and why Tucker has nothing.
Dayson was very excited about his pumpkin. He loved it and was excited to use mostly green parts.
Talee had been sick. That is why she is looking kind of rough. We were pushing it just taking her out of the house to buy the pumpkins.
Tucker got whatever was left. He doesn't need a nose, right? It was funny when we went to buy the pumpkins all of the kids were more concerned what Tucker's pumpkin was going to be than what theirs was. Mike finally had to grab one and say, "this is Tucker's, now all of you choose your own." The boy is well loved by his brothers and sister.

Coop's last football game.

Coop is number one. This is the first year he has played. He has absolutely loved it! He played defense most of the year, which he really enjoys, but the last two games he played offense too. I can't believe he is old enough to play tackle football. Time flies, it has been a lot of fun to watch!

So, after the game we decided we didn't have anything else going on, so we wanted to have some fun as a family. We went to lunch and visited the Brigham Young Home. After that the kids were still being very good, so they convinced us to let them go to Anti gravity. Many of their cousins have been telling them how fun it was, so we tried it out. Dayson took this picture, it took about five tries to get us both semi-in-the-shot. Ha, love it!
This is Queen Talee having a blast in the princess bounce house. She had it to herself most of the time we were there. She loved it!
Tucker was not impressed. He slept the whole time.
Treyden played dodge ball almost the whole time. It is pretty cool, there are tons of trampolines even against the wall, so the kids go crazy. He was so sweaty by the time we were done.
Cooper and Dace had to try everything. This was a sling-shot-type thing. They all had so much fun. It was a great day. We were all super tired by the time we got home.

Where was our Fall?

Paul's family invited us to go to the lake with them a couple of weeks ago. Mike stayed home with Talee and Tucker napping and Cooper was super tired from his football game that morning, so Dayson, Trey and I met Paul's fam at the lake. It was a ton of fun! This was Karter's idea of tubing which is a crack-up because he loves jumping into the water off the boat which my kids won't do, but he does not like the tube in the water. Paul and I talked him into getting on with Dayson for a minute and he jumped off into the water really quick. It was funny the difference between the personalities because Dayson would've done anything NOT to fall in the water where Karter jumped in, but Dayson liked the tube.

Treyden and Kaden even tried Paul's wake board which literally probably weighs close to what they weigh. They were amazing! Both of them got up for a second it was quite impressive!

Cute boys on the tube. Trey age 8 Kaden almost 8 and Dayson 5.

Two weeks after the lake Misty and I took Talee, Hunter, Aspen, and Tucker with us to meet my parents to watch Kira dance. The football game was one day before Kira's 20th birthday, so we decided to make a giant sign for her. It was a bunch of fun! Kira's boyfriend Tanner was a great sport and found a bunch of college students to hold up the sign for us. We were missing the "E" on the end of Sue, ha ha, but tons of fun. Kira did great and loved the sign!

This was why I was posting about fall, it was cold at the game! It really cracked me up that two weeks before Paul and us were at the lake. We were wearing snow clothes at the game, and now it is back to shorts weather again. I love fall, wish it would last a little longer!

What happens after 5

It's kind of sad what happens after a person has had five kids. I like to pretend that I have just gotten more laid back, but to be honest I have gotten so lazy! I'll admit it I am just plain TIRED! The other day I totally let Cooper take my 2 month old baby on a stroller ride all by himself. I watched out the window for a long time and thought it was so sweet, but still he's 2 months old. Even worse the other day I had to help Dayson and Talee with their bikes, when I came in the house Cooper was pushing Tucker around the house in a cardboard box. It will make him tough, right??? I can't be everywhere that is why I am so grateful that my kids absolutely love helping out with Tucker, I am so amazed at how well they do with him.

Coop was even nice enough to give Tucker a ride in the swing.

You can tell by Tucker's face that he is absolutely thrilled! We all thought it was cute.

At least he thought to put a pillow under his back. He is very sweet with him.

Look at that tub of love!!! He finally likes his bath and is smiling at the audience of Talee, Dayson, and Trey who are "helping" with the bath. Who knew he would be such a super star to his brothers and sister, (for now anyway ha ha).

Labor Day!

I wasn't going to add old pictures, but I decided there were two sets of pictures I wanted to add. We went camping over Labor Day for Dayson's birthday. We had tons of fun.

Talee usually likes going riding, but she was tired and very sick of her helmet, it was pretty funny!

Dayson's poor cake... I had made two rounds and knew what I was going to do with them. I had to run an errand and left Mike in charge (ha ha) I came home and Dace and Ta had eaten the better part of both cakes. We were leaving for camping, so this poor cake got filled in with frosting and brought camping. Dace had also man-handled it a ton the whole way to the mountain, so it had seen better days! Pretty funny!

We tried to make it special since he didn't have a party. He had a pinata' and glow sticks and lots of fun camping.

This is my favorite picture of Tucker. I know that beanie is dorky, but I cannot help loving it! I think he looks so stinkin' cute!

Both Cooper and Trey's motorcycles stopped working and instead of Mike working on them the whole day we loaded up in the rhino and went on a ride. Jeanie and Billy were up on the mountain too, so she kept Tucker with her. Behind us was a gorgeous waterfall. Pictures like this always make me smile, everyone looks pretty after a day full of riding! Ha ha!
